Swan A&E

Last Thursday, 'Asbo' our resident male swan was spotted in distress and bleeding in front of the Club. With his partner only just having given birth to six cygnets, the timing could not have been worse.

Our quick thinking Member David, called Huntingdon Wildfowl Trust to report the injury. We gave them access to the Club and within hours they had turned up, somehow caught Asbo and taken him away for treatment.

The following day they brought Asbo back and reported that the blood had originated from a cut on his bill. We don't know how this happened but we are very thankful to David and HWT for the help and the happy ending.

Here's the family reunited again :-)
